Better Sailing:

If you would like to gain more confidence in the skills and techniques already learnt, in Levels One and Two, and be introduced to a taster of the Advanced modules then this is the course for you. The programme will aim at better individual performance. It also develops your skills towards or achieving the RYA Seamanship and/or Day Sailing modules. Level three sailing covers skills such as handling the dinghy safely and competently in higher wind conditions and an advancement on performing manoeuvres such as man overboard and coming alongside.Depending on the prevailing weather conditions, it could include; more skilful tacking, gybing and upwind sailing, rig and boat tuning, introduction to spinnakers and sailing in stronger winds. Boats used include our magnificent wayfarers
