The RYA Safety Boat Course

This course will introduce you to the techniques required to provide safety or support cover to a range of craft, particularly sailing, windsurfing and canoeing. Other topics will include towing, communication and rescuing other water users.. A First Aid Award is strongly recommended.

Suggested minimum pre-course experience: Candidates must hold a Powerboat Level Two Award

Ability after course: Successful candidates will have the ability to provide safety or support cover to a range of crafts.

Minimum duration: Two days.
